Human dignity is something which Pope Francis is bringing to
our minds constantly as he reaches out to the poor and the handicapped as he
travels the world. In trying to imitate him can I reach out to those who
are considered to be less than worthwhile? Can I reach out to the elderly
in nursing homes, the poor, the homeless the handicapped? Can I see the
face of Jesus in each person and recognize that each person is worthy of human
dignity?
