Today's scripture readings encourage us not to be anxious and worried for we are under the care of the Living God, who cares for the birds of the air and the lilies of the field. We are promised that He will care for us too. Of course, that does not mean to sit back and relax!. We must do our part by being faithful to our our prayer and daily living. Prayer is not a magic formula for us to get what we want from God. It is a collaborative effort. Ask God to bless this time and to send His Holy Spirit to guide you as you review and then take the exams.
This blog is an opportunity to share with our friends and others more about our community, our ministries, how we live, and what's important to us. We hope you enjoy reading it. Please feel free to ask questions and post feedback. Looking forward to hearing from you.
We (Sr. Pat and Sr. Jeannie) are the main writers of this blog. Each of us loves our Ursuline life and wants to share it with others. We both were educated by Ursulines our whole lives, at St. Philip Neri School in the Bronx, the Academy of Mt. St. Ursula and the College of New Rochelle.
Currently we both are involved in education.
Sr. Pat is a teacher and campus minister at The Ursuline School in New Rochelle. She also serves part time as a member of our leadership team.
Sr. Jeannie is now principal of the Academy of Mt. St. Ursula in the Bronx.
We are both active members of our Ursuline community and are excited about the promise of the future.
Guest writers will sometimes be featured on this blog.
